Pathology — Laboratory Information Management System

Tender description

Contract for the supply, installation, integration and configuration of a pathology Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), including support and maintenance over a [5/10] year period from the date of contract signature. Delivery will be to potentially [8] trusts, staggered according to their intended system renewal dates. Each trust will contract separately, but for [identical / similar] services against identical terms and conditions. The LIMS will support all pathology specialties (blood sciences, cellular pathology, infection sciences [, Molecular etc]) and integrate to all current and future pathology analysers as required. It will also integrate with other systems for areas such as patient management or distribution of test results. Further information about the [8] trusts and their intended schedule for implementation will be issued with the SQ documentation, including details of the scope and expected benefits from the procurement.
