Tender description

Leicester City Council (the Authority) invites quotations for the provision of a partner to operate the Bike Park to provide a cycle parking service, bike maintenance and retail facilities. The Town Hall public cycle parking facility is within the remit of the Walking and Cycling team. The cycle parking facility has been has been operated and managed by Future Cycles since Jan 2012. This contract comes to an end on 31st March 2018. To prevent having a significant gap in provision it is proposed to request tenders from organisations with experience of delivery to start work on 11th April 2018. The proposed contract will be for 3 years with an option to extend for a period or periods totalling no more than a further two years on a one plus one basis.
