United Utilities (UU) is embarking on a key strategic initiative to simplify and transform its data centre and campus LANs at initially four primary locations, with the potential to transform LANs/Wi-Fi services at non-campus locations at other sites during UU’s next capital funding cycle post 2020. The transformed networks shall re-architect data centre and campus LAN environment to an optimised, scalable and future proof infrastructure, taking advantage of best in class solutions to support UU needs of the private cloud environment.
