Tender description
Dear Tenderers, Tenders are sought for the supply and installation of a Granulometer. The Granulometer is required to enhance our research platform. The exact determination of size and distribution of Marine and Coastal sediments provides powerful information about sediment transport dynamics that can be linked to coastal and deep ocean currents, estuary systems, as well as sediment deposition and erosion events that are linked to extreme weather and climate change. The application of the required instrument thus spans multiple levels of research and sub-disciplines within the marine and coastal domain that are addressed by the environmental change research cluster at NUI Galway.
