Tender description

The supply of Hearing Aids and Accessories including DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Hearing Aids that meet requirements of users with varying levels of hearing loss. The framework agreement will provide access to hearing solutions for adults and children with both mild and or moderate hearing problems and severe-profound hearing problems. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 67 500 000 in the 1st year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. The estimated value over the total framework agreement term (including any extension options (2 + 2 year term) = GBP 270 000 000. This lot covers a range of hearing aid accessories and miscellaneous products including, (but not limited to): — BTE (Behind the Ear) — Moderate Power, — Mini BTE (Behind the Ear) — Moderate Power, — ITE (In the Ear) — Moderate Power, — RIC (Receiver in Canal) — Moderate Power, — Body Worn — Moderate power. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 34 500 000. In the 1st year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. NHS Supply Chain is currently considering the use of lots for this procurement. However, it reserves the right not to as part of any future tender process. Further information in respect of the lot strategy will be set out in the notice for the forthcoming procurement. This lot covers a full range of hearing aid solutions for adults with severe or profound hearing problems. This lot will offer high power/super power hearing aid solutions which incorporate wireless technology, including (but not limited to): — BTE (Behind the Ear) — High Power, — ITE (In the Ear) — High Power, — RIC (Receiver in Canal) — High Power, — BTE (Behind the Ear) — Super Power, — RIC (Receiver in Canal) — Super Power, — ITE (In the Ear) — Super Power. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 12 200 000 in the 1st year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 1 300 000 in the 1st year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. NHS Supply Chain is currently considering the use of lots for this procurement. However, it reserves the right not to as part of any future tender process. Further information in respect of the lot strategy will be set out in the notice for the forthcoming procurement. This lot covers a full range of hearing aid solutions for children with mild/moderate and severe/profound hearing problems. Products will be suitable for children and will make best use of technology to provide suitable hearing solutions. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 2 500 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement.
