Tender description

The service being commissioned will be care, support and housing related support in two purpose built buildings in the London Borough of Wandsworth for adults with a Learning Disability with a range of needs. Care & housing related support services will be delivered in 2 purpose built buildings. Melody Road, opening summer 2018, will have 9 self-contained 1 bed units. Stag Road, opening in 2019 and linked to a general needs housing site, will contain 10 units. Both services require 24 hr staffing. The units will be for service users who currently live outside the borough. The objective is to deliver local personalised services that are enabling & community integrated, including but not exclusively to the following: — commissioned services will have a number of overarching aims, — these will underpin our ethos of commissioning, — drive our expectations of service delivery, — ensure people retain independence where possible, — delivered with the least intervention whilst ensuring service user safety. Services will evidence value for money by identifying solutions that ensure a good balance of quality and cost to make the best use of resources and achieve positive outcomes for people & their communities.
