Tender description

The Council will soon seek tenders for Supported Accommodation services. One contract is to support 16 adults in 2 designated buildings. Another is to provide support and accommodation. One lot is for 10 people in 2 premises in the Bow area. The other lot is for 15 people in 2 premises in Whitechapel High/complex need day service for 15 adults from a Council owned building in Mile End Employment support to provide advice, training and coaching so 110 people are supported into employment each year, 55 start a competitive paid job and 50 sustain it. Residential respite — 24 hour 7 day a week short break respite provision in a Council building with 6 bedrooms. To formally commence procurement pursuant to this PIN a separate Contract Notice will be issued. The procurement will commence from March. The contracts will be for three years with possible extensions up to 2 years. Dates for tender returns will be in ITT documents. For avoidance of doubt this is not a call for competition at this stage, the purpose is to advise the market on the forthcoming procurement of adult learning disability services for information on planning purposes. To formally commence procurement pursuant to this PIN a separate Contract Notice will be issued.
