Tender description

The main purpose of the service is delivery of off-site programmes for learners on roll of Leeds’ Schools, Academies and SILCs for identified learners aged 11-19. Leeds City Council Children’s Services (Childrens Services) deem offsite provision to be that when learners access part of their learning entitlement at an offsite (i.e. out of school) provider during the academic day. It is expected that learners will follow a nationally recognised programme or qualification which is included in Section 96/97 of the Learning and Skills Act 2000 and that will be accredited to the home school’s assessment and attainment table. Offsite educational provision does not include any out of school hour’s activities.
