Tender description

This 66 month Dar es Salaam Urban Jobs (Dar Jobs) programme is a market systems development programme that aims to catalyse sustainable change in sectors that have the potential to generate jobs and increase the incomes for thousands of poor people, particularly women and youth. With an intial budget of 10 000 000 GBP. The programme will commence with activities in the manufacturing, waste and childcare sectors. The supplier will be responsible for management and technical inputs for the programme. The supplier will be required to deliver: market analysis; policy analysis; political economy analysis; stakeholder engagement; business advice to firms: to foster linkages between businesses and private or public investors; and monitoring and evaluation to learn and inform adjustments to the programme. The supplier will also manage an Innovation facility to fund the costs of interventions. The fund element will be no less than 6 000 000 GBP of the total budget value.
