Tender description

The Council is seeking to appoint a contractor to exploit the opportunities surrounding the use of Council assets for external sponsorship/advertisement within the Rotherham area. The successful organisation(s) will be expected to manage, maintain and develop the agreement in order to maximise income to the Council. Given the financial pressures facing Local Government, the key driver in relation to this initiative is to generate an income stream into the Council's budget. This will be broken down into two lots and will include:- Lot 1 - Highway Sponsorship: The selling of advertising space consisting of a number of roundabouts, boundaries and gateways. Lot 2 - Flowerbed Sponsorship: The selling of sponsorship opportunities of flower bids within a number of parks across the borough. Suppliers may bid for Lot 1 in isolation, Lot 2 in isolation or for both Lots 1 and 2. Suppliers may be awarded one or both lots. Only one supplier will be awarded per lot.
