Stakeholder Engagement Event – 1 March 2018 Newcastle City Council’s contract for Targeted Youth Support for young people aged 13-19 is coming to an end in September 2018, and the Council must put in place new arrangements using a competitive tender process. We would like to get your views on how this support should look in the future, and to help shape our plans for the service from October 2018, before we publish this contract opportunity. As part of this engagement event, we will also explore how we can secure wider social value benefits as part of this commissioning process. This is in line with our Social Value Commitment covering: thinking, buying and supporting Newcastle; ensuring community focus; showing ethical leadership; and being green and sustainable.
