Tender description

The London Borough of Hounslow is publishing this notice to enable the mobilisation of the Park Service, previously provided by Carillion Plc, to an in-house provider. A specific element of the mobilisation is the requirement to either purchase existing vehicles, plant and equipment from the liquidator and / or to hire / purchase for a short period of time until the in-house service provider identifies the actual need for vehicles, plant and equipment in the longer term. Therefore, it is intended to source the vehicles, plant and equipment to cover a short period of time whilst the service is mobilised in-house by undertaking direct hire / purchases without following a procurement procedure. A procurement will be undertaken for the longer term requirements. Purchase and / or hire of Park Related Equipment — see above short description.
