Tender description
For the supply of labour to London Underground to install LED Lighting panels within the Saloons of the Bakerloo Line 72 Tube Stock (TS), these works will have to be carried out on the weekends only (Fridays 22:00 – Sundays 22:00) from June 2018, estimated to finish around Nov 2018. The Bakerloo Line 72TS consists of 36 trains (252 carriages) and are currently lit with fluorescent tubes of various lengths, there will be a target of completing the installation of saloon lights for 1 – 2 trains per weekend. The contractor will be provided training on how to remove the current lights, install the new lighting panels and how to carry out the necessary safety tests, they will also be required to carry out the works at Stonebridge Park depot.
