Railway signalling works

Tender description

Translink wishes to establish a framework of Economic Operators to provide Signalling and Telecom Implementation Services and Works over a period of a maximum of 8 years commencing on the 1.12.2016. The framework will consist of one Economic Operator and a standby list of a further two Economic Operators. The estimated expenditure over the term of the framework is 120 000 000 GBP. The Services required for the Framework may include but are not limited to the following: — signaling design and implementation Grip Stage 5 to 8, — telecom design and Implementation Grip Stage 5 to 8, — Civil and PWay works, — switch and crossing installation including the installation of points, — cable installation and testing, — testing management services, — testing and commissioning works, — provision of testing resources to NIR, — provision of installation resources to NIR, — project management and a principle designer or a principle contractor as required.
