Tender description

Public Health England (PHE) has awarded a contract to Cambustion Uk Ltd for a Fast Aerosol Particle Sizer, to allow for real-time particle size distribution measurements to characterise a wide range of aerosols of potential public health interest (e.g. e-cigarette vapor and consumer product sprays). The solution is be able to measure a wide particle size ranging between 5nm to 2.5 µm, have a time response of at least 0.1s (10hz), high resolution in size distribution measurements (ability to resolve monodisperse aerosol e.g. polystyrene latex PSL spheres with Geometric Standard Deviation < 1.1) within constraints of first two points, integral variable dilution systems and data processing capability.
