Tender description

Diversion of 66kV OHL at Testos Roundabout from West Bolden Grid Supply Point (GSP) at West Boldon. This relates to Steel Towers only. Affected sections of 66kV Overhead Lines and pilot cables will be diverted via 66kV underground cables across a suitable easement prior to the start of any road and roundabout works. To facilitate the underground cable diversions, four new 66kV double circuit terminal towers with cable sealing ends and two 66kV 'H' wood terminal poles will be constructed with the redundant overhead line sections being dismantled and recycled.
