Tender description
The Department of Education are seeking to engage a competent supplier for A National Research Co-Ordinator to deliver the trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) 2019 in Northern Ireland. TIMSS 2019 is the seventh in a four yearly cycle of assessments that measures children’s mathematics and science achievement at international grades 4 and 8 equating to Years 6 and 10 in Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland has participated in the previous two rounds of TIMSS. The previous two rounds of TIMSS in which Northern Ireland participated in surveyed only Year 6 pupils in Northern Ireland. For TIMSS 2019, participation will once again be for Year 6 pupils only.
