Tender description

The purpose of intermediate care beds in care homes is to provide a high quality, multidisciplinary and client focused package of care and support that will include assessment and healthcare support for adults whose healthcare needs are at a level of complexity, intensity and/or unpredictability to require 24/7 supervision and care but whose healthcare needs do not require specialist medical investigation or interventions provided by an inpatient admission to secondary care. Therapy is provided by East Sussex Hospitals Trust with whom providers are required to work in partnership. East Sussex County Council (ESCC) is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of nursing beds within a rehabilitation service model from nursing care providers in the Eastbourne Hailsham & Seaford & Hastings & Rother CCG areas. Providers will need to be able to demonstrate (via the table below) that they are able to meet all required service components (with a brief description of how these will be met). Interested providers must be able to commence the service (to include all developmental/planning activities) from 9.2018.
