“This is not a procurement exercise by the education authority”. The education authority is seeking sponsorship from businesses/organisations who have an interest in supporting EA's STEM module to visit schools to deliver stimulating and challenging courses that will augment the curriculum in STEM subjects, providing incentives to pupils to develop their interest in and enthusiasm for these subjects. The education authority wishes to engage with potential businesses/organisations to obtain a market view by way of a questionnaire. Any interested businesses/organisations are required to submit their response via the eTenders NI portal. Businesses/organisations are required to return answers to the questionnaire and any comments no later than 3:00 pm on Friday 19 .1.2018. Participation or non-participation in this pre-procurement market engagement shall not prevent any business/organisation participating in a potential procurement process, nor is it intended that any information supplied shall place any business/organisation at an advantage in any forthcoming procurement process. For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the education authority is not committing at this stage to carrying our such a process. Any decision by EA to seek sponsorship will require Department of education approval. The questionnaire and additional information can be downloaded from CfT documents. The questionnaire must be completed and returned via the messaging function.
