Tender description

NHS Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical Commissioning Group, acting as lead commissioner for NHS South Devon and Torbay Clinical commissioning group, Plymouth City Council and Torbay Council seek to commission Community health and well-being services for children and young people in Devon. Lot 1 — Community health and well-being services for children and young people in Devon — North, East, West Devon, South Devon and Torbay. Lot 2 — Community health, well-being and Send support services — Plymouth. This procurement is being managed by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit Procurement Team on behalf of the Commissioners. NHS Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical commissioning group, acting as lead commissioner for NHS South Devon and Torbay Clinical commissioning group and Torbay Council seek to commission Community health and well-being services for children and young people in North, East, West Devon, South Devon and Torbay. A section 75 agreement will be in place between Devon County Council and Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical commissioning group for the commissioning of some of the services in this procurement. The services included in this lot are detailed below. Emotional health and well-being: Child and adolescent community mental health services (CAMHs). Children looked after nursing service. Nursing and administration contribution to the Multi-agency safeguarding hub (MASH) processes. Children’s learning disability and Autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Send and children with additional needs and long term conditions: Nursing and community support to include: Community children’s nursing (incl. specialist school nursing; Palliative care). Neuro disability and Integrated therapies to include: Children’s speech and language therapy (incl. Early years language consultant Torbay). Children’s occupational therapy (NHS and social care). Children’s physiotherapy. Specialist Children’s Assessment Centres. The contract will be for 7 years with an option to extend for one period of 3 years. The annual contract value is circa GBP 24 000 000 per annum. The Contracting Authority has an existing contract with Vranch House which include Children and Young People’s Physiotherapy services. The successful tenderer will be mandated to use Vranch House as a material subcontractor. Details are provided in the service strategy. Safeguarding and children looked after. Clinical and administrative staff. The contract will be for 7 years with an option to extend for one period of 3 years. The annual contract value is circa GBP 13 000 000 per annum.
