Tender description

This Framework Agreement will be awarded to Multiple Suppliers. The work can be summarised as follows: Works will be to Fife Council owned Domestic and Non-Domestic properties. Preservation and rot treatment: Renewing infected timber. Removal of timber safe lintels and replacing with pre-stressed concrete lintels. Plasterwork. Inorganic preservative, chemical treatments. Ancillary Items: Work in connection with existing kitchen fitments, sanitary appliances, central heating appliances, gas fittings and electrical fittings. Damp Proofing Works: Chemical damp proof courses. Plastic damp proof courses. Associated works. Fife Council intends to enter into a Framework Contract to provide Timber Preservation and Rot Treatment for Domestic and Non-Domestic Properties. The main aim of the Framework Contract is to identify a suitable Contractor, who can deliver a high-quality service. The Framework Contract will allow quick appointments to be made as the usual competitive tendering process will not be required for individual projects. The works comprise: the timber preservation treatment and eradication of rot and associated remedial works including electrical, plumbing and central heating works, within Council owned domestic and non-domestic properties throughout Fife.
