Summary of the work Onsite SharePoint Developer required to join internal development team onsite in Central Birmingham to work on continued agile development of our business critical SharePoint online and SharePoint 2016 on premise platforms. Must have very strong C# skills as significant complex development is critical to role. Specialist role Developer Expected Contract Length 6 Months Latest start date Monday 28 January 2019 Maximum Day Rate £350 (excluding VAT) per day maximum Who Speclialist Work With You will join a talented internal development team developing on SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016 on premise using C#, JavaScript, CSS with an agile methodology using Visual Studio Online Team Services. Prioritised work will be assigned in fortnightly sprint planning meetings by the Business Analysis team who undertake all business relationship activities leaving developers to focus on development activity. What Specialists Work On Develop SharePoint additional functionality for the Fitness to Practice Case management for a) Fitness to Practice b) Organisational Development c) Corporate Resources d) Governance e) Strategy teams including customisation and development of SharePoint using C# Work with internal Business Analysis team on continued migration of documents from legacy SharePoint system using migration tools Work with internal Business Analysis team on implementing business classification & categorisation form Office 365 in SharePoint 2016 Skills & Experience • Demonstrable experience of hands-on development working with Microsoft SharePoint (including version 2013 or greater). • Very strong C# skills (onsite technical test) • Very strong JavaScript skills (onsite technical test) • Very strong CSS skills (onsite technical test) • Proficiency in developing and customising Microsoft SharePoint solutions using C#, JavaScript, HTML5 and FetchXML. • Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments Nice to Haves • Proficency of designing, developing, deploying and maintaing SharePoint Online Solutions. • Experience in documenting defects/enhancements and implementing solutions Work Location General Dental Council, No.1 Colmore Square, Birmingham, B4 6AJ Working Arrangments Role will be based onsite at General Dental Council, No.1 Colmore Square, Birmingham, B4 6AJ from 9am to 5pm daily Role is required onsite to work with wider IT and business teams Day rate is inclusive of expenses and no expenses will be payable.
