Tender description

The purpose of the service is to enable vulnerable adults to develop existing skills or acquire new skills to increase their independence in daily living through appropriate risk taking, their opportunities for education and employment, and ultimately meet their desired outcomes as detailed within their Personal Plan. In addition services need to be focused on keeping individuals healthy and safe. A competitive procurement has been undertaken, falling within social and other specific services set out in Section 7 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, and will establish an Open Select List (OSL). An OSL is a flexible framework approach which ensures that the market can remain dynamic by periodically giving new providers to opportunity to join. This will ensure that the market remains sustainable in the long term, and enable the Council to ensure that all providers are suitably qualified based on consistent application of LCC requirements and policies.
