Tender description

This procurement sets out to secure the provision of functionality required for a modern hospital medicines management service that administers over £289M of hospital medicines each year. The new system will need to be dm+d compliant to accommodate the new structures in dm+d, and the introduction of SNOMED CT coding. A core requirement for the new system will be the ability to integrate with other clinical systems. The system will need to be compliant with the European Union Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD)or such continuation or replacement of it as may be in force after Brexit. The Initial Term of this Agreement shall be for a period of seven (7) years with the option to extend this agreement by a further period of up to three (3) years in increments of no less than twelve (12) months at the discretion of the Authority.
