***Please NOTE: This tender will close for the receipt of bids on Monday 28th January 2019 at 14.00 BST.*** The Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), a component Research Council of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), is a world-leading multi-disciplinary science organisation, whose goal is to deliver economic, societal, scientific and international benefits to the UK and its people - and more broadly to the world. STFC wishes to procure a cryogen free cooling system to stably control the temperature of a laser system amplifier head whilst extracting the heat load generated by the pump lasers. Contract will cover prototype system & full design of production system, with contractual option to proceed with purchase of production system if Contracting Authority wishes to take this up.
