Supporting Technical Teachers to prepare for T Level delivery through Regional Knowledge Hubs

The technical education reforms are a systemic change and an opportunity to create opportunities for learners to thrive in a competitive labour market by developing the skills that are valued by employers.The reforms will create a technical education option which will sit alongside the academic option (e.g. A levels) for post-16 learners. Under the technical option, occupations with shared training requirements will be grouped together into 15 technical education routes. New level 3 classroom-based technical study programmes - T Levels - will be created for each occupation or cluster of occupations within a route (referred to as pathways).This tender relates to Strand 4 of the T Level Professional Development offer. The focus of this work is to provide support for technical teachers, trainers, middle managers and leaders to embed learning and maximise the impact of CPD delivered in Strands 2, 3 and 5 of the T Level Professional Development offer.
