Specialist vehicles

Tender description

The Council is looking to replace its fleet of Heavy Plant Vehicles, that are beyond their economic life with new vehicles which are to be provided on a contract hire basis and to include all routine maintenance. The replacement of plant equipment along with support and full maintenance as required by Cardiff Council shall aid maximising equipment uptime and aid ensuring there is no disruption to the frontline operation. The vehicles required are as follows: 2 x Caterpillar 950H Wheel Loaders or equivalent. 1 x Fuchs MH320 Materials Handler or equivalent. 2 x JCB JS20MH Wheeled Materials Handler or equivalent. 2 x JCB 550-80WM Tele-Handler or equivalent. 1 x JCB 541-70WM Tele-Handler or equivalent. All the vehicles will be provided on a contract hire basis for a period of 60 months. Support and full Maintenance are to be included.
