Tender description

In order to calculate the impact of a new housing development on school places Slough applies its current Pupil Yield Rates to the number and type of dwellings proposed. These Pupil Yield Rates allow the Authority to forecast how many children by each age group will occupy the new housing development when all properties are occupied. This enables Slough to calculate the capital contribution it will seek from the developer, which in turn will inform Slough's school building programme. The appointed consultant will submit a strategy for ensuring the required numbers of completed surveys are achieved and that a sufficient number of less common properties are surveyed.
