Tender description

This is a prior information notice (PIN) only: Publication and a call for competition will be conducted once the scope of work is fully defined and approved. Resource and Support Hub for tackling sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment in the aid (SEAH) sector. The Hub will support organisations to implement best practice on safeguarding against SEAH including improved mechanisms for beneficiary feedback and accountability. This is a prior information notice (PIN) only: Publication and a call for competition will be conducted once the scope of work is fully defined and approved. The exact nature of the Resource and Support Hub will be determined in the design and consultation phase, but we anticipate that the Hub will be a primarily online resource. We expect the contract to cover three interlinked work areas, requiring effective coordination across each to ensure seamless and effective delivery. All elements are critical to overall success: 1. Providing a ‘one-stop shop’ for guidance and training by keeping fully up to speed on the breadth of expertise and resource on safeguarding against SEAH across the aid sector; facilitating collaboration between organisations via a ‘marketplace’ function; 2. Facilitating access to quality assured support services, including referral to pools of specialists, including investigators who can support organisations struggling to deal with an investigation, counsellors for survivors of incidents, and legal expertise; 3. Building evidence and boosting innovation on what works by funding and championing research evaluating SEAH safeguarding approaches, as well as best practice on engaging with survivors to determine their needs and priorities; and driving and testing innovations. Please register interest to the DFID Supplier Portal for this opportunity (8446) to receive all communication and updates – http://supplierportal.dfid.gov.uk/selfservice/. There will be an Early Market engagement event held on 25th January in DFID Whitehall. For all information regarding times and venues and if you wish to attend the event please ensure to access these details within the additional information provided for 8446 on the DFID Supplier Portal. Note, there are two elements to registration which must not be confused with each other: 1. Suppliers must register their interest to 8446 on the DFID Supplier Portal to ensure they receive all communications and updates (this is not registration to attend the event). 2. Within the profile of 8446 on the portal, there are dialogues/clarifications and attachments/additional documents the supplier must refer to, which contain the link to register to attend the EME event.
