Provision of Internal Audit Service

Tender description

Tenders are invited from interested parties for a contract (“the Contract”) in the provision of an internal audit service to the Irish Greyhound Board (IGB).The internal audit service provider will conduct a programme of on-going review to monitor the effectiveness of the system of risk management, security of assets and internal controls that provide reasonable assurances of security, operational efficiency, reliable financial reporting, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The operation of the Internal Audit function should comply with the requirements outlined in the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies. The scope of internal audit activities will be determined using appropriate risk assessment tools to ensure adequate coverage of corporate risks and exposures.
