Provision of 3G Pitch Replacement and Updated Flood Lighting

Bishop's Cleeve Parish Council (the Council) is seeking offers from Suppliers who are members of SAPCA and can supply and install a replacement 3G surface and replacement LED flood lighting at its all-weather pitch in Bishop's Cleeve, Cheltenham, GL52 8LU. The existing All-Weather Pitch (AWP) was constructed in 2005. The existing 3G surface is approximately 12 years old and has reached a stage where it requires replacement. The AWP is currently used by the local youth football team as well as schools and adult teams principally for football and training purposes. It is also let externally to members of the community. Bishop's Cleeve Parish Council wishes to replace the existing AWP surface at its Cheltenham Road Sports Field and is seeking a solution that will provide a new 3G Synthetic Playing Surface in its place. The aim and overriding requirement of the Council is that the new synthetic playing surface must be suitable for football and that after installation and appropriate testing the pitch remains on the FA 3G Football Turf Pitch Register. General Pitch Requirements: • Pile length of 50mm to accommodate football; • Line markings for: o 7v7 pitch o 2 X 5 a- side
