Private Healthcare services Mapping Tender

Tender description

The Authority has been monitoring public health services (as defined above) since 2007 and has not to date had a formal role in the scrutiny of private healthcare providers and services. Consequently, in advance of the commencement of the licensing regime, the Authority will undertake a comprehensive review of the, type, and location of services provided for by private providers in the State. This will include hospital services, clinics, ambulatory services, dental practices involved in the delivery of designated healthcare activities which include medical, surgical and anaesthetic activities. For this exercise we have defined a provider as private where the services is not managed or funding directly by the Health Services Executive. This tender outlines a request for the provision of services to undertake a detailed assessment and cataloguing of these services and provide a comprehensive report of this exercise to the Authority.
