The Current services offered by GPSIs at Solent Medical Services: Mild to moderate rashes which can be managed without referral to a consultant dermatologist. This will include eczema (atopic and contact), psoriasis, (skin lesions), alopecia, urticaria and skin ulcers, as well as the assessment of solitary skin lesions including benign tumours Skin surgical work with the exclusion of all cases that should be referred directly to Secondary Care including Suspected Skin Cancers A range of clinical skin interventions, including skin surgery, liquid nitrogen cryotherapy Low-risk basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) - these will be diagnosed, treated and followed up by the community service.
