Pre-tender market engagement exercise Commissioners wish to invite interested providers to a briefing and discussion session on Wednesday 16 January 2019. The Council is seeking to commission a service that will provide a holistic offer of low level support for individuals living with mental health and wellbeing needs. Improving mental health and wellbeing, supporting healthy lifestyles and integrating health and social care along with the wider determinants of health are known to have immense impacts on keeping people well and thriving in our communities. The service will focus on early intervention and prevention and provide support and activities that will positively impact on people’s mental health and wellbeing, reduce health inequalities and improve wider outcomes for communities at risk from poor mental health by building community capital and individual mental resilience. The purpose of this Market Engagement is to; • Raise awareness amongst the provider market of the details of this opportunity and the timeline for the project • Seek the high level market view of this opportunity from a commercial perspective and the market view of what has and hasn’t worked well elsewhere in order to address similar need; • Help to determine the most appropriate course of action for the Commissioners; • Give Providers the opportunity to start building the resources and the strategic relationships required to bid successfully for the project; • Engage with the Provider market prior to any procurement activity.
