IICSA: 1181 - Specialist Support for Deaf Truth Participants

Tender description

The Inquiry recognises that the current processes for; raising awareness, answering questions, making bookings and delivering the Truth Project, are not inclusive of deaf people. It seeks through this procurement to provide equality of access to Deaf participants who: Use British Sign Langauge (BSL). Identify as deaf and do not use BSL but would find our existing routes and communications difficult to navigate. This is part of a wider approach that will seek to meet the needs of all deaf people in participating in the Truth Project. For the purposes of this project, the Inquiry is keen to work with organisations providing specialist mental health support to deaf people.
