Tender description

The 15 Clinical Commissioning Groups across Kent, Medway and Sussex are currently working up a plan to collaborate to procure an NHS111 and clinical assessment service across the region. Therefore the Contracting Authorities included in this Prior Information Notice may be subject to change. Please note the current estimated overall contract value falls within the following range 75 000 000 GBP and 90 000 000 GBP. This notice assumes all Contracting Authorities included in this notice will participate and so this figure is subject to change in the event the final participating authorities change. The 15 Clinical Commissioning Groups across Kent, Medway and Sussex are planning to collaborate to procure an NHS111 and clinical assessment service across the region. The contract will be for 5 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance and the procurement is scheduled to be published in January 2019. The service is being procured as “Schedule 3 — social and other specific services” and commissioners are bound only by those parts of the regulations applying to Schedule 3 services.
