Tender description

Why the Work is Being Done Further information on the Headstart Kent programme is available on its existing website (and this project will replace this site): https://www.headstartkent.org.uk/. To participate in the further completion under the DOS3 framework to deliver a new HeadStart Kent Knowledge Hub website for 1 April 2019 (or as soon as possible thereafter), please email Todd.Davis@kent.gov.uk for further information and to be invited to the further competition. The further competition is due to be published 11 January 2019, and will be facilitated by the Kent Business Portal (registration is free). Problem to Be Solved The current website is in need of a complete re-build. The following sets out some of the issues we have with it and why we think it’s time to develop further: Site structure, no clear menu, second-level menu is hidden, no clear 'customer journey', some primary content is displayed at the bottom of the website, general navigation is difficult, the design needs a re-fresh, content management used for the site is better suited to a more technical user. Who Are the Users An essential component of the programme in Kent is the creation and development of the Resilience Hub: an online space that will support people to build emotional resilience across the county by making tools and resources available to three key audience segments: • Young people aged 10 – 16 • Parents and carers of young people • Schools and other community settings Early Market Engagement A copy of the slides from the Market Engagement webinar event that took place on Thursday 13 December 2018, along with a copy of the Q&As are available upon request; please email todd.davis@kent.gov.uk for copies. These will also be provided as part of the further competition documentation in January 2019.
