DIAS Marine Instrument Pool

Tender description

From funding received from Science Foundation Ireland, DIAS seeks to purchase a pool of marine instruments including: broadband acoustic hydrophones, absolute pressure sensors, a seafloor tsunameter and high frequency acoustic sensors (suitable for wildlife studies). A detailed specification of requirements is set out in Section 2 of the main Tender Document which is available for upload. Tenders must comply with the format of tender as set out in Section 3. As can be seen from Section 2 of the tender document we are looking for sets of four types of instruments, a) 10, 15 or 20 broadband acoustic hydrophones, b) 5 absolute seafloor pressure sensors, c) one seafloor tsunameter and d) 10, 15 or 20 high frequency hydrophones. We are asking suppliers to provide quotes for any part or all of the supply and delivery of these instruments and all relevant consumables. To facilitate this, the tender has been broken into four lots as follows: Each lot will be evaluated independently.
