Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council wishes to engage with the market place in advance of a procurement exercise to appoint a contractor to undertake responsive repairs, voids and planned works to its stock of nearly 10 000 properties. The Council is holding individual meetings with prospective bidders to seek their views on the complete procurement process which is likely to include scope and duration of contract as well as form of contract and payment mechanism. At this stage the Council only wishes to engage with main contractors who have experience of delivering maintenance services to a large stock of properties.
