Tender description

This framework is for supply and delivery of highways material. Durham County Council is seeking to appoint a single supplier for Lots 1, 2 and 3 to provide Highways Material to Durham County Council Stores at the Meadowfield Depot and local sites throughout County Durham. — Lot 1 – Bagged Aggregate — Lot 2 – Bitumen Road Emulsion and Stabilisers — Lot 3 – Rapid Setting Bedding If you are successful you will be appointed to the framework. Following appointment the Council may make call-offs against the Framework Agreement on the basis of your being the sole supplier on the framework for each lot which you have applied for and you will be expected to respond to meet the demand of the Council’s planned programme. However should you be unable to meet the requirements of any order then the Council reserves the right to approach other contractors to carry out such order. This framework is for supply and delivery of highways material. This is a call-off Framework Agreement and successful bidder(s) will be required to provide highways material to Durham County Council’s specification and the applicable BS EN Standards. It is the Council’s intention to award each lot separately. Potential supplier(s) are able to tender for one or more or all lot(s).
