Tender description

The modification of Clear Channel owned bus shelters to enable the Authority to install Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) electronic displays as and when funding permits. The modification work includes the installation of a bracket and provision of a separate power supply within existing bus shelters. The contract will be for 4 years to allow for the continued roll out of RTPI electronic displays in clear channel owned shelters as and when funding becomes available. This contract is essential for when a shelter needs to be made RTPI compatible for the installation of a new RTPI electronic display, upgrade or the relocation of existing RTPI electronic displays. Without this the Authority will be unable to undertake shelter modifications and install RTPI within existing bus shelters. The bus shelters are owned and maintained by clear channel and only clear channel can make modifications to their shelters.
