Tender description

In order to meet its legal responsibilities under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Rushmoor Borough Council wishes to procure the services of specialist contractors to assist in the management and control of asbestos within Council properties. The Council own and maintain 31 properties which range from public toilets, community centres, industrial units, leisure centres and offices. It is responsible for repairs and maintenance of these buildings to ensure their continued suitability for the people that use them as well as maintaining the value of the buildings as public assets. All buildings are within the Rushmoor Borough Council area mainly around the towns of Aldershot and Farnborough. Appointed contractors will be required to offer a full service to all properties within the Rushmoor Borough boundaries. Keywords: asbestos, asbestos removal, asbestos monitoring
