Waste-treatment plant construction work

Tender description

Bedford Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire Council (‘the Councils) invite tenders for the appointment of a contactor to provide comingled Recycling/treatment services for Bedford Borough Council (BBC) and Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC). The Co-mingled Recycling Treatment Contracts for Bedford Borough Council (BBC) and Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) are coming to an end on 31.3.2019, the two Councils have therefore approached the market place to make sure new contracts are in place so that a continued service is provided to the residents of the 2 Councils which the Councils have statutory responsibility for under Section 51(1) (a) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
