Tender description

The contract covers the provision of a tree maintenance service. The contract is for Council owned land which is principally adjacent to highways, and on housing, formal parks, greenspace, cemeteries locations, and public buildings. This includes carrying out safety related work, and to ensure statutory clearances from road ways, footpaths and cycle routes and other tree hazards. All tree work carried out will be in accordance with the council tree works specification. Also to BS3998: 2010 standards or equivalent "Recommendations for Tree Work" and with reference to the Arboriculture Association's Guidance note No.5 "European Tree Pruning Guide".
