Tender for landscape architect design team/playground design team for the refurbishment of playgrounds at New Ross Town Park & Redmond Park, Co. Wexford.

Tender description

Works to include design of playgrounds and extended landscaping/playscapes around the new playgrounds. All aspects of playground refurbishment to be included. Phased Masterplan for Refurbishment of Redmond Park will form part of the contract also. • Develop the overall concept of design for works to the playgrounds at both parks. Overall design to include proposed playground equipment, play surfaces, landscaping including playscapes, planting, fencing etc. • Produce proposals for a phased development of Redmond Park, both in terms of site development and content of the park. A necessity of this design will include redevelopment of lake to rear of park and also improved access throughout the park. • Design, tender and manage any surveys and advance works contracts that are required in order to complete the detailed design. • Design and detail a planting scheme which will become a high quality visual amenity and sustainable natural environment. • Develop a final design which can bring a high degree of innovation and distinction to these parks. • Prepare phasing drawings for the implementation of the overall final design for Redmond Park. • Prepare detailed design and tender documentation for the construction works. • Construction Supervision Services. • Health and Safety Services: Perform or nominate a suitably qualified entity to undertake the duties of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) as set out in the current Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations.
