Tender description
Network Rail currently has agreements for supply of concrete sleepers with 2 manufacturers. Network Rail is considering awarding a contract to a third manufacturer in order to ensure the security of supply. This PIN aims to identify the interest of the market. The purpose of this third supplier of concrete sleepers PIN is to determine the market’s interest in a guaranteed, long term, regular and low volume (in the region of 10 000 to 50 000 per year) supply of G44 and EG47 concrete sleepers.
