Tender description

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is the operational name of the Health Board, which was established on the 1.10.2009 and covers the geographical areas of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen and South Powys. The Health Board's pathology directorate Blood Science services are located at 3 sites Royal Gwent Hospital, Nevill Hall and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr. The Immunology Service for the Health Board is operated from the Royal Gwent Hospital. The Health Board is seeking to award a contract to replace all current automated including manual indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) testing services and automated Immunoassay within Immunology ABUHB. Services are on the Royal Gwent Hospital Newport site only, as per quoted workload in specification. The Health Board's Requirement includes equipment, reagents, consumables, maintenance, training, a stock control system, installation and enabling works.
