Tender description

The provision of domestic abuse services. The service specification outlines requirements for the provision of a variety of services to support the victims and their families, as well as the perpetrators of domestic abuse across the whole of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, for the period from 1.4.2019 to 31.3.2022 (with an option to extend for a further 2 years on a 1 + 1 basis depending on delivery and funding). The aim of the service will be to provide short term accommodation (up to 12 months) and support for people with or without children who are at risk of or experiencing domestic violence, forced marriage or abuse. The aim of the service(s) will be to provide short term floating support (up to 9 months) and support to prevent vulnerable people who are either victims of domestic violence or at risk of domestic abuse from being at risk of homelessness, in order form them to sustain their tenancy and live independently.
