Tender description

The London Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking to appoint multiple providers who can deliver good quality, safe, efficient and enjoyable activities to children and young people during the Easter and Summer school holidays. These holiday activities are for children who live or go to school in Waltham Forest. The services procured under this contract fall under the “Light Touch Regime” (within scope of which the holiday activities fall). This contract will utilise the flexibilities provided by the “Light Touch Regime”, as prescribed by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (“the Regulations”) and in accordance with the Authority’s Contract Procedure Rules. The duration of the contract will be for 24 months. Full details of the services to be procured under this contract are provided in the tender documents and can be found on the London Tenders Portal, which can be accessed at: https://www.londontenders.org/ Waltham Forest are looking for suppliers who can offer an exciting and innovative range of extended activities and courses for young people to learn new skills and have new experiences. Lot 1 will offer an extensive and diverse range of activities which will appeal to young people and increase participation of young people. Lot 2 will offer a wide range of extensive inclusive activities aimed at children and their families aged 5 – 11 within 2.5 hr sessions delivered across a number of locations across the borough.
