Tender description
Guinness is carrying out this procurement to put in place a 4-year, multi-lot framework for the for the provision of grounds maintenance services to the communal areas of our estates. Activities in scope include, but are not limited to: — gardening and maintenance of green areas, — removal of litter and debris from grassed areas, hard standings, car parks, roads, etc., — removal of invasive weeds, plants, ivies and self-rooting trees, — graffiti removal, — bulk waste collection and disposal, — basic tree maintenance. Framework Lot 1 covering the part of the Greater Manchester area Total schemes included: 126 Initial call-off expected: 54 Spend range: £130k - £180k annually Local authority areas: Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale Please note that this lot will be subject to comparison against lot 8, in conjunction with lots 2 & 3 Framework Lot 2 covering the part of the Greater Manchester area Total schemes included: 90 Initial call-off expected: 52 Spend range: £80k - £120k annually Local authority areas: Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan Please note that this lot will be subject to comparison against lot 8, in conjunction with lots 1 & 3 Framework Lot 3 covering North-West areas outside of Greater Manchester Total schemes included: 132 Initial call-off expected: 95 Spend range: £30k - £50k annually Local authority areas: Blackburn & Darwen, Carlisle, Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Chester, Halton, Lancaster, Liverpool, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Rossendale, Sefton, Wirral Please note that this lot will be subject to comparison against lot 8, in conjunction with lots 2 & 3 Framework Lot 4 covering Rotherham, Sheffield and surrounding areas Total schemes included: 81 Initial call-off expected: 58 Spend range: £100k - £140k annually Local authority areas: Rotherham, Sheffield Please note that this lot will be subject to comparison against lot 9, in conjunction with lots 5 & 6 Framework Lot 5 covering parts of Yorkshire (ex. Framework Lot 8 which is a combination of Lots 1, 2 & 3. This lot is a combination of the lots for the North-West of England. It will be compared against those individual lots and the Most Economically Advantageous option selected. Total schemes included: 348 Initial call-off expected: 201 Spend range: £240k - £350k annually Local authority areas: Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan, Blackburn & Darwen, Carlisle, Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Chester, Halton, Lancaster, Liverpool, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Rossendale, Sefton, Wirral Framework Lot 9 which is a combination of Lots 4, 5 & 6. This lot is a combination of the lots for the North-Central area of England. It will be compared against those individual lots and the Most Economically Advantageous option selected.
